About the founders

Mr. Nicholas Osamokuwa Woghiren, along with Isoken Joy Onaiwu Woghiren established this orphanage as a fulfillment of his late mother’s desire and dream. Late Madam Grace Woghiren Obamedo was a visionary and philanthropist. She gave freely and willingly to all those who were in need. Her main focus was caring for children and the elderly. She cared for all her children, teaching them the value of hard work as well as caring for those in need. She was an astute and successful businesswoman and had over 100 employees working for her. She provided scholarships to deserving children of her employees and a lot of them today are successful members of society. To ensure her legacy lives on and to make sure her dream of giving every child a path to reach excellence, an orphanage has been born in her name.
